Mossy Wall Decor

Instructions

1. Use the pencil to etch the shape of your wall art onto the foam.  Use the knife to cut out the shape.  Wearing a mask, use the scrap pieces of foam as sanding blocks to smooth out any rough-cut areas.  Clean up any dust and wash your hands to avoid getting the small particles in your eyes. 
2. Cut lengths of raffia to divide the different colors of moss and help define the shape.  Twist several strands together to make a tight rope.  Use floral pins to secure it in place.  Try inserting the pins between some strands to help conceal them. 
3.  Glue the various colors and styles of moss in sections around the foam sheets to create an interesting design. 
4. Securely glue two floral pins into the back of the foam making sure they are level with each other, about 10“ apart.  Tie the floral wire to the pins for the hanger.
