FloraCraft® to Host Santa’s Workshop
Free Community Event Offers Indoor Winter Wonderland to Families
Ludington, Michigan, December 5, 2018 – FloraCraft, the world’s leading manufacturer of foam floral and craft products, will host its 7th annual Santa’s Workshop at its Ludington headquarters.
On Saturday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., community members are invited to visit FloraCraft, 1 W. Longfellow Place, where elves have created a magical winter wonderland designed just for kids. The event will feature hands-on activities and crafts, along with special visitors from the North Pole.
Last year, more than 500 children and families visited Santa’s Workshop. This year, the workshop has re-located to a larger space on the FloraCraft campus that will accommodate more fun and games.
“For more than 70 years, FloraCraft has called Ludington home, so we love finding ways to give back to a community that has been so good to us,” said CEO Eric Erwin. “Our team has been working round-the-clock to create a space perfect for a holiday kick-off event. We hope everyone will come on down to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with us.”
The event, which is free and open to the public, offers children an opportunity to explore their creativity while building excitement for the holiday season. Activities include:
- A special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Craft stations where kids can make fun holiday projects to take with them
- A letter writing station with a direct-drop to the North Pole
- Horse-drawn wagon rides provided by Soberalski Farm’s Draft Horses
- Cookies made from Mrs. Claus’ kitchen
- Hot chocolate provided by The Red Rooster
- Holiday Games
Additionally, the first 500 children to attend will receive a special gift.
“Santa’s Workshop has become a holiday tradition we look forward to every single year,” Erwin said. “We hope the community will have as much fun at the event as we did bringing it to life.”
