Instructions
- Cut a stem of the green hops long enough to trail down the left side of the wreath. Insert the stem into the straw and use the floral pins to help secure in place. Cut a second stem about half as long and secure it trailing to the right side of the wreath.
- Cut the stems of the orange roses to about 4”. Insert them into the straw evenly spaced across the top of the wreath. Cut the stems of the butter yellow flowers to about 4” and insert them into the wreath evenly spaced around the roses.
- Cut the stems of the spray roses to about 4” and insert them to fill in around the orange and yellow flowers.
- Cut stems of boxwood, Italian ruscus, white filler flower, and dried hops to fill in around the entire arrangement to add texture and contrast.
TIP:
Add glue to the stems before inserting to help secure them in place.
To secure thinner stems into the straw, first wire the stem onto a wired wood pick. Lay the pick along the end of the stem and use the wire to secure the pick to the stem. For more security, wrap the stem with floral tape by stretching and overlapping each wrap of the tape around the wire and stem. Stretching activates the adhesive in the tape.
