Tropical With A Twist Floral Wreath

Instructions

1. Pin one end of the ribbon to the back of the wreath and begin wrapping around the wreath, overlapping each wrap as you go to cover the wreath completely.  Pin again where you stop at the back of the wreath. 
2. Cut the stems of the hydrangea to about 3“.  You may have to cut a slit in the ribbon to insert the stems.  Insert the three hydrangeas about 2“ apart across one side of the wreath.  Add glue to the end of the stems before inserting for a more secure hold. 
3. Cut the stems of the zinnias, mums, and ranunculus to about 3” and insert them evenly spaced to fill in around the hydrangeas.   
4. Cut palm stems and insert them around the wreath, peeking out from behind the flowers. Use floral pins to secure shorter palm leaves as needed to fill in. 
5. Cut stems of the trailing greenery and insert them around the wreath for added texture. 
6. Cut waxflower stems, baby’s breath, or Limonium to add contrast and texture throughout the wreath.
