FLORACRAFT® SEES RECORD ATTENDANCE AT SANTA’S WORKSHOP
More than 1,600 participants attend annual community event
FloraCraft®, the world’s leading manufacturer of foam floral and craft products, saw a record 1,642 participants at its annual Santa’s Workshop on Dec. 14.
In its eighth year, the event was held at the company’s Ludington headquarters and featured a day of Christmas crafting, holiday games, stories with Mrs. Claus, hot chocolate, horse drawn wagon rides, pictures with Santa and a new bike raffle, which had nearly 600 entries.
Additionally, the first 600 children received a FloraCraft branded winter hat.
“This year’s Santa’s Workshop was truly one to remember,” said CEO Eric Erwin. “We were determined to make this year’s event bigger than ever and we not only met, but exceeded, expectations.”
FloraCraft would like to thank the following for their support of this year’s event: Santa and Mrs. Claus for visiting us from the North Pole, FloraCraft Funn Committee and all the additional employees who gave their time, community volunteers, Pioneer Church for the delicious hot chocolate, Soberalski Farm’s Draft Horses for the wagon rides, Lake FX Media Team, Ludington area schools and its robotics team and Statewide Party Rentals.
“We are thankful for everything the Ludington community has given us and this was a great way to show our appreciation,” Erwin said. “I am very proud of our employees, community groups and participating companies who came together to spread joy this holiday season.”
Santa’s Workshop is held every December and is free and open to the public.
