FloraCraft® Honors Longtime Employees

Family-owned Business Announces their Wall of Fame Inductees for 2018

FloraCraft®, the world’s leading manufacturer of foam floral and craft products, is recognizing its 2018 inductees into their FloraCraft Wall of Fame.  These loyal, passionate and devoted employees are Mr. Gary Smith and Mr. Alfonzo Padron.

The FloraCraft Wall of Fame is dedicated to recognizing and honoring those individuals who have contributed to the success of the corporation. These individuals played an essential role in FloraCraft’s mission to “Honor our FloraCraft heritage by providing excellence in products and supply chain to our customers. We Make it Fun! For our employees and consumers.”

Smith retired from FloraCraft in 2013 as director of manufacturing. During his 45 years of employment, which began in 1965, he served in many capacities throughout the company and exhibited his leadership and management skills as the company grew.

Padron retired from FloraCraft after 46 years of service to the company. Padron, who also started with FloraCraft in 1965, held many positions from production and logistical associate to supervising a variety of departments.  He is an individual of character.

“We are pleased to recognize both gentlemen for their combined 91 years of dedicated service to the FloraCraft Corporation,” said President and CEO Eric Erwin. “Its dedicated and loyal individuals like Mr. Smith and Mr. Padron who have provided their abilities, character and leadership over the past 73 years that has allowed FloraCraft to strengthen and grow in Ludington.”
